Background & academic work

A curious mind.
A hands-on approach.

My path brings together science, storytelling, photography, leadership, and business. I earned my undergraduate degree in animal science, built creative experience through campus work and recruitment, and now combine practical marketing work with an MBA.

Connecting study with experience

Customer-journey coursework connects with the inquiry forms and follow-up workflows I work on at Amarante’s. Research and analytics connect with interpreting social performance and lead sources. Accounting and economics add another perspective to menu pricing, package costs, and the business decisions behind a campaign.

The broader picture

Creative work, and the work behind it.

My experience extends across content, customer communication, leadership, research, and day-to-day operations.

01

Marketing, sales support & venue operations

Amarante’s Sea Cliff

My work connects social media, photography, video, flyers, menus, website updates, SEO, email, and lead follow-up. Beyond content, I support customer communication and event inquiries, which gives me a direct view of how marketing becomes a conversation and a booking.

02

Turning interest into an organized next step

CRM & inquiry follow-up

I’ve worked on GoHighLevel inquiry workflows, pricing-guide responses, follow-up emails, and internal sales notifications. Event-specific website forms help route wedding, private-event, and corporate inquiries toward the right information.

03

Connecting marketing with business decisions

Menu costing & package analysis

I’ve been developing a Google Sheets event calculator that organizes packages, menu sections, portions, ingredient costs, and per-guest estimates. This work connects package pricing with the costs behind the customer-facing offer; the calculator is still being refined.

04

Making complex details easier to use

Event information & sales support

I organized an internal events reference covering venue minimums, package options, deposits, timing, and the questions clients commonly ask. It supports consistent conversations and helps identify information that still needs clarification.

05

Retail content & customer experience

Atiana’s Boutique

Bridal appointments and styling gave me hands-on sales experience alongside social content. I created trend and seasonal campaigns, dress-focused videos, Canva graphics, and content ideas such as Dress Inspo, Style of the Week, designer spotlights, and behind-the-scenes posts.

06

Recruitment, creative leadership & representation

Delta Phi Epsilon · URI

My experience spans social media coordination, recruitment, and Vice President of Recruitment. I launched Wear Letters Wednesday, led a 15-person creative team, managed a $10K budget, and supported outreach to 900+ prospective members. I also served as First Delegate at the 2024 International Leadership Forum, representing my chapter in national leadership voting.

07

Marketing photography · 2022–2023

URI Campus Recreation

I photographed club hockey and intramural basketball, baseball, soccer, and volleyball, then edited the images for publication. My work appeared on social media, campus televisions, digital posters, and displays across residence halls, recreation facilities, and the library.

08

Photography & creative entrepreneurship

Photos by Kat

Since 2020, I’ve developed my own photography practice across portraits, events, lifestyle, and wildlife. The work includes editing, branding, marketing, client communication, and managing the experience around a shoot.

09

Digital marketing & brand development

Atritium IT Security

My broader marketing experience includes a digital rebrand, GoDaddy website optimization, targeted CRM outreach, Bitdefender campaigns, and monitoring website performance through Google Analytics and SEO.

10

Data internship · 2025

Rhode Island Department of Health

My science background also includes work with rabies data, REDCap workflows, data accuracy, and public-health reporting. That experience connects careful information handling with real-world decisions.

11

Radio internship · 2021

Star 99.9

I supported news recaps for the Anna & Raven show, gaining early experience translating information into content for an audience.

12

Student newspaper editor · 2020–2021

The Mane Street Mirror

I worked with articles, editorial feedback, and InDesign layouts—an early foundation for the writing, visual communication, and publishing work I do today.
